Patrick joined Enigmail in 2003, just about when the original author has abandoned the project. Since then he has worked on developing Enigmail from a prototype project for the Mozilla Suite to a comfortable and easy to use full-fledged OpenPGP add-on for Thunderbird. Patrick holds a Master's degree in business informatics. In his day job he works as head of information management at a bank.

John joined Enigmail in 2003 answering Patrick's call for volunteers. Barry Porter and he cowrote the initial QSG for Windows users. John holds a BS in Computer Science and Engineering. In his "day" job, he performs large system management for the highest bidder. He is currently co-developer of the SKS keyserver and the EKP Email Keyserver Protocol.

Olav joined the team in 2004 to improve user-friendliness. He provides email support and manages the current website. In his day job he's a self-employed information security consultant specializing in privacy and data protection, so for him Enigmail and OpenPGP Cards are a job and not a hobby.

While serving in the U.S. Marine Corps, John was assigned to the Naval Security Group and involved with SIGINT Operations. Upon discharge, he attended college and upon graduation returned to work for the United States Government in the same capacities he performed in uniform. After retirement John spend much of his time applying what he learned during his career to enhancing Personal Privacy and Security. Areas of expertise include Secure Communication, Security Processes, Traffic Analysis, Target Penetration & Electronic Warfare.

Rob holds a Master's degree in computer science and is inching his way towards a Ph.D. in secure software engineering. Since joining Enigmail in 2006 he's worked on the user interface and fields questions from users. In his day job, he's a software contractor specializing in information security issues.

Dan is the lead author of the Enigmail Handbook. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science, focusing on the security of wireless networks. Formerly a CERN civil servant, he's an enthusiastic networks, systems, and information security professional.

Ludwig is supplying the Enigmail nightlies for Mac OS X since 2005. During this time he got more and more involved in testing nightlies and recently also coding. In his day job he is a senior engineer developping hard- and software for control systems.
